My name is Carly and I am the owner and founder of Wish Upon a Cupcake, a business I started in 2011 after discovering my passion for cake making quite by accident. After making a celebration cake for my little boy’s 1st birthday I was quickly inundated with orders and my little cake business was born. From that moment, my passion for cake design was ignited and my exciting journey into the cake decorating world began. Due to the rapid expansion of our little cake business, in 2015 my husband Andy joined me to help with the baking and preparation of the cakes. Introducing him to the business has allowed me to fully concentrate on designing and decorating wedding cakes, an area where my passion truly lies.
As a team of just two, our goal is to work closely with our customers to create something that not only becomes a stunning centrepiece that will visually wow your guests but also something that will wow their tastebuds too.
